Empowering Heroes, Cultivating Futures

At Joint 4ces, we are committed to providing veterans with a supportive environment that combines hands-on agricultural training with personal development and holistic wellness. Our mission is to help veterans build meaningful careers in agriculture by equipping them with essential skills, a strong support system, and a clear path to success. Through our structured training program, veterans receive on-the-job experience in farming operations, alongside guidance and resources that support their mental and physical health. By fostering growth in both professional skills and personal resilience, we empower veterans to transition confidently into new careers and find renewed purpose after service.

Our Mission: Veteran-Focused Farming for a Better Future

We have already seen incredible success with our veteran community garden pilot program in Windsor, CA, where veterans have come together to cultivate produce, foster community connections, and build valuable skills. This program has also improved participant mental health and reduced upstream risk factors for suicide, demonstrating the profound impact of community and purpose on well-being. This program has shown us the transformative power of sustainable agriculture in the veteran community and serves as an inspiring model for our future initiatives.

Joint 4ces is a veteran-focused organization dedicated to establishing cooperative farms that will supply fresh, healthy food to local communities and military bases across the nation. With sufficient funding, our program will offer veterans the chance to reconnect with the land, gain valuable skills, and cultivate both produce and purpose. By combining hands-on agriculture with personal development, we will foster an environment where veterans can heal, grow, and find their place in a supportive community.

Empowering Veterans, Feeding Communities

Our farms are not just fields—they are places of healing and opportunity. Each farm will be a space where veterans work the soil, build meaningful connections, and contribute to something larger than themselves. Through training, mentorship, and collaboration, veterans will transform into leaders—forging a new path forward that benefits them, their families, and their communities. The food grown by our veteran farmers will go directly to military bases, local markets, and underserved communities, ensuring that everyone has access to nutritious, sustainably grown produce.

A Vision for the Future

In the next 5-10 years, a significant transition of agricultural land is expected as a generation of farmers begins to retire. Joint 4ces aims to be at the forefront of this change by empowering veterans to step into these roles, ensuring that valuable farmland remains productive and sustainable. By supporting veterans in becoming the next generation of farmers, we can preserve agricultural heritage, promote food security, and offer meaningful careers to those who have served our country.

Our vision extends far beyond individual farms. We see a network of veteran-owned agricultural enterprises thriving across the nation, each one supporting its community while addressing systemic challenges like food insecurity and veteran unemployment. With full support, our ultimate goal is to establish a resilient food system led by those who have already served our country—a system that prioritizes health, sustainability, and opportunity for all.
